NFA transfer fees. If I sold you the item it is included in the purchase price. If you order it from somewhere else it's $50.00 per item.

1. Decide if you are going to transfer your NFA items to you as an individual or make a trust. 

a. Making a trust has many advantages but the main one is that a group of people can share assets that may have been purchased by other members of the trust. An individual that owns a suppressor may not give or loan that suppressor to some outside their presence. I also recommend NFA Lawyers.com to set up your trust. This has been the easiest trust to get approved without having 20 sets of fingerprint cards for all the people listed in your trust.

2. Make an account at ATF E-Forms. You will need your user name and PIN that you set set up on the website (keep those with you when you come to the shop or you will not be able to transfer your NFA item). Please note that the user name is not your email address. Typically it will have part of your name and 5 numbers after it. 

3. I have access to a wide range of NFA items. Some I keep in stock. If I don't have it let me know what you’re looking for and I will order it. 

4. Once the item is in the store I will contact you to begin the paperwork.

5. Individuals- You will come to the shop (See Item 2.) and we will fill out all the paperwork on line, take a passport photo, 2 sets of prints for every NFA item you purchase. 

6. Trusts- Once the item arrives I will send you the information you need to fill out the ATF Form 5320.23. When you arrive at the shop you should have a PDF copy of the trust you created. You must have a digital copy of ATF Form 5320.23 listing all the information from the NFA item you purchased. Please note that each NFA item needs a separate copy of ATF Form 5320.23. Having all this information on a thumb drive speeds this step up. 

7. Once we complete the online portion, the wait begins. Many customers are seeing turn around times in a few weeks and sometimes days. Sometimes it may take longer. Be patient.  

We have a phone because Google requires it as does the ATF. It is a land line so I don't carry it with me and I check messages on it as I have time. The message on the machine will tell you that contacting me is best done as an email which can be found in numerous locations on this website.

So if you call at 9:00am and we don't answer the phone, it's because we ain't here. 

Typically when you make a purchase through an online retailer you have the option to select the receiving dealer at checkout. If I am not listed continue with the checkout and select dealer not listed. Finish with your purchase and you should receive an email asking to have a FFL forwarded for your order. Forward the email to larry.arnold@rangerreds.com and I will take care of getting it to them. Once you receive shipping and tracking information forward that email to me also so I can watch for delivery. 

Once a firearm has been received it has to be logged in to my books. Only then can it be transferred to you via a NICS check or if you have a CCL.
