Defensive Shotgun Level 1

Nothing is more versatile than the shotgun. Capable of taking down birds in flight or stopping a charging grizzly bear. It can also be used with less lethal ammunition too. This course is for the person who owns a shotgun and would like to use it for defensive purposes. Students will pattern and zero their shotguns with 00 buck and slugs then begin scenario based training with various targets at distances up to 100 yards.
Equipment Needed;
Semi Auto or Pump Shotgun. Gauge is not specific as long as you can find 00 buck shot and slugs for it and it reliably feeds your chosen ammo.
200 rounds of birdshot Dove loads are fine.
25 rounds of 00 buckshot
25 rounds of slugs
Some type of ammo holder that you can draw from off your belt or gun. Something similar to a belt worn skeet shooters pouch or bandolier.
